I love this photo of my mam & dad. This represents a time to me when they were really content... the kids had left home, they loved spending time with their grandchildren and they had the time & money to do things for themselves. They were married for 37 years when dad left. It was a massive shock to us all. I was 35yrs of age when they split up, and I still feel the pain & sense of loss so strongly, as do all the family. I love them both very much but we all lost something very special and nothing will ever replace it.
